To say that 2024 was bigger and better than anything I’ve ever done before would be an understatement. It was exciting, but also exhausting at times as I struggled to keep all of my clients happy. This was the year I learned to say No (or at least Not Now) to ensure I was giving each project my all.

That last number is ridiculous, and I know it. I over-extended myself this year and took on way more projects than I should have. I had to turn away the potential represented by a few new clients in order not to risk the relationships I’ve built with my existing clients, but I’m comfortable with that.
My favorite new client welcomed me into a new genre, giving me my first taste of paranormal romance (OMG did we have fun with those stories!) while another introduced me to the world of freeuse erotica.
Several of my returning clients kept me busy again with serialized projects and long-form novels, but I think what I enjoyed most was the chance to follow an author as she built an entire world of sci-fi erotica, with interconnected novels that were as imaginative as they were romantic.
